DESCRIPTION:
Located South Bend, Alder House is a 35-unit affordable housing complex rehabbed in 2024.
Two 2-story buildings contain studio and 1-bedroom units. Seven of the units have a rent subsidy and residents will only pay 30% of their income in rent. These units are affordable to households at or below 50% AMI. All other units will be affordable to residents at or below 80% AMI. Each unit contains a full-sized kitchen and bath. Water, sewer, garbage and electricity are included in the rent. Tenants are responsible for cable and internet.
The buildings sit on the hill overlooking the Willapa River. There is an elevator making the on-site laundry room, community/event room, manager’s office and case manager office easily accessible. Supportive Housing services are provided to all residents by Community Integrated Health Systems. There is limited permit parking at the site.
Rents for studio - $773 - $800; one bedroom $843 - $900
Application fee: $46 per adult applicant (must be 55+ years old at time of application)
Security deposit is $300
Small pet (1) (cat or dog) under 20lbs, already spade/neutered require a signed pet agreement and $200 pet deposit.
