Sylvester Apartments are located above the Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts and is recorded on the National Historic Registry. The Sylvester Apartments were renovated in 1994, utilizing a unique blend of local, state and government entities. This limited access, four story brick building in downtown Longview contains 35 beautifully rehabbed one bedroom, one bath units with elevator access and on-site laundry.

Units rent for $1,120 per month with water/sewer/garbage and basic cable service provided at no cost. Pets can be approved with an application and pet deposit. Application fee is $46 per applicant.

Tenants are expected to pay no more than 30% of their adjusted income for rent. Rent subsidies are available for qualified tenants. Exclusively for low-income elderly (62 years or older) individuals or couples.
