Newly constructed in 2019, Driftwood Point is a 27 – unit Low – Income Housing Tax Credit property for homeless families and veterans located on the Long Beach Peninsula. There are 3 two story buildings containing 1-2- and 3-bedroom units. Applications must meet the set aside and income restrictions of 30%, 40% and 50% of Area Median Income.
Each unit contains a full-sized kitchen and bath. Water, sewer and garbage are included in the rent. There is an on-site laundry room, community / event room and manager’s office. CCAP provides onsite case management for any residents wishing to access services. The complex is on the bus line and close to many amenities.
Rents: $811 for 1 bedroom; $1,076 for 2 bedrooms; $1,488 for 3 bedrooms.
All 27 units have Project Based Assistance so residents will only pay 30% of their income for rent.
Application fee: $46 per adult applicant (18 + years old)
Security deposit: $300 for 1 bedroom; $400 for 2 bedrooms; and $500 for 3 bedrooms
Small pets up to two (2) (cat or dog) under 20 lbs., already spade/neutered require a signed pet agreement and $200 pet deposit per pet.
