Located in historic downtown Raymond, Willapa Center, a limited success 30 – unit affordable housing complex, was built on the site of the old Raymond Hotel. The building also houses non-profit office spaces, currently occupied by Coastal Community Action Program and a 3,500 square foot childcare area.
Newly constructed in 2023, the 3-story building contains 1-2 and 3- bedroom units. 15 of the units are subsidized and are rented to those at or below 30% AMI. Of those, 13 are set aside for households who are homeless. The other 15 units are affordable to households at or below 50% AMI. Each unit contains a full-sized kitchen and bath. Water, sewer and garbage are included in the rent.
The building has a limited access outdoor area, and is equipped with an elevator, on-site laundry room, community/event room, manager’s office and case manager’s office. Anyone who resides in the building can access case management services. Parking is limited to the rear of the building. There is also on-street parking available.
Rent: range from $556 - $811 for 1 bedroom; $670 - $1,076 for 2 bedrooms; $775 - $1,488 for 3 bedrooms, depending on income set aside for each unit.
Application fee: $46 per adult applicant (18 + years old)
Security deposit: $300 for 1 bedroom; $400 for 2 bedrooms; and $500 for 3 bedrooms
Small pets up to two (2) (cat or dog) under 20Lbs, already spade/neutered require a signed per agreement and $200 pet deposit per pet.
